Lara Ruiz's work encompasses painting, sculpture, and architecture. She is intrigued by the idea of engaging in creative processes using materials from diverse contexts, such as office supplies or construction materials. Lara actively seeks out and applies techniques that lead to a range of artistic exercises, embracing creative errors and experimenting through both analogical and technological means.

Her projects take on a collaborative format, inviting the public to participate in the creative process. Lara is also deeply interested in how art interacts with and inhabits space. In fact, her CDC project is an extension of her exploration of site-specific art, where she delves into the creative potential of fundamental construction elements. The artistic outcomes of her work challenge the uniform identity fostered by post-industrial society and emphasize the empowerment of human and social value.
